Interdisciplinary communication in the educational process at the Faculty of Russian Philology
Abstract. The article is devoted to education of the future Russian language teachers at the philological faculty of the university. Separate study of Russian language and Russian literature is impossible. Interdisciplinary communication in educational process allow to provide full philological training for the future teachers.

The role of epigraphs in the interpretation of the plot and images in A.S.Pushkin’s “The Queen of Spades”
Abstract. Considering the possibilities of study of the A.S.Pushkin’s “The Queen of Spades”, the author tries to show the role of epigraphs in their lively connection with the system of artistic images and features of the plot.

Representation of the mythological principle in the artistic space of A.S.Pushkin
Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of mythological vocabulary in the works of A.S.Pushkin. The role of mythologisms in reflecting the inner world of the poet and his characters is shown as well as caracterizing and expressiveevaluative role. Mythologisms with established new values that are fixed in the secondary function are highlighted.

Reading M.Y.Lermontov’s “Borodino” (1837) as a spiritual experience of acquiring a patriotic feeling
Abstract. The article defines the origins of the patriotic pathos in M.Y.Lermontov’s poetry “Borodino” (1837). By comparing “Borodino” with Lermontov’s early poem “The Field of Borodino” (1830 (31)), the author proves that its hidden center is the Lord’s Prayer (“Our Father”), in which God turns to man with his Fatherly essence. The article reveals the relationship and the meaning of the reflections of Russian soldiers about the will of the Lord and the author’s admiration before the heroes of the Battle of Borodino. It is argued that the source of true patriotism for Lermontov is the feeling of the Heavenly Fatherland, inseparable from the perception of the Russian land in its spiritual ideals.

Abstract. The internal connection between the work of literature and painting makes it possible to make an extensive use of an interdisciplinary approach in studying literature. Building a lesson based on the principle of the interaction of the arts is determined by the complex effect, thereby achieving the high quality of the gained knowledge. The article creates parallels between the works of M.Y.Lermontov and the picturesque masterpieces of Rebrandt van Rijn, promotes students’ imagination and deep penetration into the author’s perception of the world.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the memoirs of some Russian writers about pilgrimage trips to St.Seraphim of Sarov and about spiritual influence of the Father Seraphim on their future life. Deep connections between Russian literature and great spiritual truths is indicated.

L.N.Tolostoy’s Trilogy: the formation of the self-aware hero in Russian literature
Abstract. The article discusses the main character of the L.N.Tolstoy’s trilogy (“Childhood”, “ Boyhood”, “Youth”) as a special type of “self-aware hero”, in which the autobiographical beginning correlates with the most generalized patterns of a person’s personal development. A character of this type in the structure of an artwork exists both as an independent person and as the personification of a certain time in human life, which directly correlates with Tolstoy’s plot, which original title was “Four Epochs of Development”.

The choice of the way of life for the heroes of I.A.Bunin’s short stories “Under the hammer and sickle”
Abstract. The paper analyzes the works of Bunin’s emigrant period, which, with a few exceptions, were not published in Soviet Russia, and were almost never reprinted abroad. The focus is on Bunin’s vision of the world, his critical view on the future of his country. The entire book is evidence of Bunin’s rejection of revolutions in general, and the Russian revolution in particular.

The paper presents Belov’s typical verbal patterns and expressions that distinguish his style and shows his writing skills in the creating emotional images of his beloved homeland.
