“Woe from Wit”: the road of the author and his hero
Abstract. With his reflections on the A.S.Griboedov’s play, the author makes the reader carefully re-read it, rethink the characters, understand writer’s and main character’s moral positions.
Keywords: meaning of the title: “Woe to Wit” and “Woe from Wit”; who is to blame for the Chatsky’s “torments”, mind of the mind and mind of the heart, the author and his hero.

Reflections on the novel “Station Master”
Abstract. The article determines the value of the character of the rural deacon in the A.S.Pushkin’s novel “The Station Master” and makes students to “read” the story, taking into account the language features of some verb forms used by the author. Particular attention is paid to the subtle connection of language characteristics with the ideological content of the novel.

Abstract. Lermontov’s poetics is heroic, which is expressed in the images of a horse. The horses were Lermontov’s constant and beloved companions in life and the most important images and significant elements of the narrative in his poetry.

Abstract. Considering the contradictory evaluations by literary critics of the first scene of “Dead Souls”, the author gives his own interpretation of the argument of the peasants about the wheel, which refuses to carry Chichikov.

Abstract. This methodological study is planned to compare the characters of the novel by G. Yakhina “Zuleikha opens the eyes” with those of the novel by Z.Prilepin “Abode”. For the sake of simplicity, the material of the case is organized as a table, the filling of which may be the result of both home and classroom group work.
