“Magic land! Joy for eyes!”: Crimea (Tavrida) in the creative consciousness of A.S.Pushkin
Abstract. The article is devoted to so-called “Crimean text” in A.S.Pushkin’s works and talks about how vivid and unforgettable impressions of the Crimea (Taurida) were reflected in a number of his poems of the first half of the 1820s, in the poem “The Fountain of Bakhchisarai”, in the “Extract from the letter to D.”, in the novel “Eugene Onegin”, in the poet’s letters.

To the 150th anniversary of the creation of the epic novel “War and Peace”
Abstract. The article traces the connection between the hero of ancient Russian epic Danila Lovchanin and the artistic image of the trapper Danila in “War and Peace”. The closeness of the historical and philosophical concept of L.N.Tolstoy to the assessment of historical events presented in Russian epics is shown.

Two artistic concepts of war: “The Young Guard” by A.Fadeyev and “Darkness at Noon” by Y.Slepukhin
Abstract. The author compares the artistic concepts of war in the first edition of the novel “The Young Guard” by A.Fadeyev and in the novel “Darkness at Noon” by Y.Slepukhin. Fadeyev’s war is a grand battle to restore world harmony was recreated in the romantic tradition. The war of Y.Slepukhin is recreated in the realistic-analytical tradition. The heroes of both books are ordinary people who see their duty in preventing the proliferation of anti-human philosophy. Both authors have followers in modern military prose.

Abstract. The article discusses the work of children’s writer I.I.Kraeva and analyzes the main motive-thematic complexes of her works and the specificity of its language. The complication of the metaphorical nature of her works is associated with the main stages of the writer’s creative evolution: from fun and entertaining books to the formulation of serious social and moral problems in the latest collection of “Children of Heaven” (2018).

Abstract. The article is based on Sergei Yesenin’s letters and by following the literary code of “Turgenev girl” the story of his first love for Maria Balsamova is reconstructed. The author proposes an interpretation and methodology for studying Yesenin’s two poems dedicated to Maria Balsamova.
